Joan Hantman

Joan Hantman has complemented Ercüment Kılıc's teaching. She studied dance and attended many dance seminars in Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Israel, and Turkey.
Joan has danced with the performance groups Zikukim, Mandala, and Collage, and currently sings with the band Veselba and with the chorus Superdevoijce.
She has performed throughout the east coast as well as in Bulgaria, England, Hungary, and Israel, and has choreographed for several Israeli performing groups.
Among other venues, she has taught at Temple Reyim in Newton, Massachusetts; the MIT Folk Dance Club, Café AMAN in Los Angeles, California; the Balkanfest at Pomona College in Pomona, California; Israel Yakovee's class in Burbank, California; the New England Folk Dance Festival Association (NEFFA), and the Ethnic Express International Folk Dancing Club in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dances Joan has taught include Azeri Dances, Dvešti Trišti, Karaj Majčo, Megdansko, and Sitno Vlaško.
