Peg Allmond was an exciting square dance caller in Northern California.

She taught a regular class at Taylor Boulevard School in Millbrae on Saturdays.

Peg taught at the California College of the Pacific Folk Dance Camp (now Stockton Folk Dance Camp) from 1958 to 1963. She Peg Allmond opened a "branch" store on campus to take care of the needs for dance records, books, shoes, and other necessary items of interest to folk and square dancers.

Dances Peg taught include Cross Trails, Divide the Ring and Do-sa-Do, Drifters, Four in a Center Line, K.O. Square, Pick Up Two-Birdie in a Cage, Pick Up Two-Star, Pretzels, Right Hands Up and Left Hands Down, Runouttanames, Take a Peek, Texas Star, The Arch, and The Route.
