PRONUNCIATION: PREH-keed KOH-loh TRANSLATION: "Prekid" means "interruption" (as in a sudden cut or pause in the music) SOURCE: John Filcich taught Prekid in 1961. He learned the dance from Barbara Welch Hill who had learned it in Yugoslavia in July, 1960, and subsequently taught it in the Seattle area.
